Cancer therapy has developed enormously fast in recent years. More effective but also gentler forms of therapy can be used today. Cancer research at Claraspital includes both medical-oncological and radio-oncological (=radiotherapeutic) research and research in urology and senology (breast cancer). The improvement in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors (e.g. of the intestine, breast, lung, prostate, kidney, and testicles) and cancer of the blood and immune system (lymphoma, leukeima) is the focus of our research.
